Inspired by the belief that freedom is the foundation of democratic life, Nia leads Demo Lab’s Freedom Academy (civic education), the Innovation Lab (where we experiment with freedom tech like Bitcoin), and our ecosystem-building convening, the BLISS Summit, across Costa Rica and Latin America.

Her background spans NGOs, private equity, and executive headhunting. She previously served as Chief of Staff before becoming President of Demo Lab. Nia holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Birmingham and is currently pursuing an MPA at Cornell University.

She is committed to empowering citizens and advancing self-sustainable, free societies.
